It's Only a Dream !!...

Sometimes,

My heart beats fast,

exhilarated as if all of my 

wishes have come true

and my prayers got answered …

When on a Beautiful face ,

with doe-eyes,

the hair entangled in the winds falls…

It feels as if, the Moon's hid itself 

behind the thick black clouds…

When you look at me and

utter my name ,

it feels like sitar is playing,

under this azure canopy of a sky filigreed with

the light of the stars …

My head in your laps,

is soothed ,like the gates of heaven 

being opened for those 

seeking Salvation…

The joy of meeting you

is so resplendent ,

as if, the whole world echoed 
our ballads into my ears...

Where winds are crazy and

every direction lost !!…
 A meeting where the hearts slip,

like tear drops…

On such meetings, I dream 

I dream Oh Beloved!… 
that you come down to me,

like a fragrant wind, 

and say out those words,

that you have always 

pulled back from your lips …

I look at you~

like the Chakor bird looks at the moon …

You are blushing, with 

cheeks taking the color of freshly 

ripened apples from grandma's orchards …

Lowering your eyes,

It is Now,

or Never,

Come, say it!...
 This was just the beginning

of a beautiful dream, 

in my dreamworld ,where no-one exists…

No-one to listen to those words,

that I have carefully sealed deep down my heart…

Now I am awake,

And I know, 

the answers I need 

don't match the questions I ask for...
