On days, when the rain falls like today...

I look out the Window, with questioning, suspicious eyes...

I ask the pouring droplets~why do you come to me?... 

Why do you come to me like an uninvited visitor, 

and then sit on my Window pane ~looking at me??...

What do you wanna see and what do you wanna inquire?....
For I couldn't hide the lost glitters of my eyes from you,

Why do you look at my eyes with such sad desperation ?...

To see them glitter with joy as you descend down to me?...

 dear rain~my long lost friend...

But if you wish, 

I can show you the precious pearls 

that my eyes shed these days...

For my feet now couldn't dance 

to the tunes of your euphoric melody, 

But I can show you the subtle gestures

 that my soul make, 

on the rhythms of your saddening cacophony . . .

 Come to me, my dear friend! ~ only if you are here to stay...

 Or go away, and have pity on this grief of mine...

 I need not, your weeping chill, 

for I'll choose my hot tears till my eyes swell....
