I wish to shine, when the Sun overboard is covered with raven cloud...

The dawn has broken...

A bright,chirpy morning has risen

Soft wind's blowing,

And my senses now,

highly awaken... 

The sluggish slumber, 

my all weather friend for

a day like today has set me free...

I am now in a trance of my 

unforgettable past...

It's like an enchanted spell, 

I stand bewitched...

Helpless as I am forgetful of the counter-spell... 

The memories calmly tiptoe 

and carefully knock at the garden

of my soul...

Bubbles afloat my tummy, 

‌reach out to the lips,

as I exhale a deep breath...

The rush of a series of flashbacks, 

settles down for a moment and 

rise again like a tsunamic wave...

I am buried, with silt atop and

could barely breathe... 

In those moments of horror,

I lay frozen...

As I seized to wrestle, 

with my circumstances,

I soon felt at peace within...

I realized how fortunate

I have been in my life, to have pure 

gems in the form of humans,

always by my side... 

Those who have crossed boundaries

and gone out of their way for me, 

donning smiles, bright as the sea pearls, 

expecting nothing but to see me smile...

It is for them my lord,

that I wish to shine, 

when the Sun overboard's covered

with raven cloud...
